Photos from Bolivia in 2004 - Illimani (21,201ft / 6,460m) with Alain Mesili; Pequeno Alpamayo (17,618ft / 5,370m) and Huayna Potosi (19,996ft / 6,094m) with Rodrigo Mujica. This was supposed to be a larger expedition that dwindled down to two. Then my co-climber, Karen, returned home after not feeling well on Pequeno Alpamayo. So I climbed Huayna Potosi with Rodrigo and Illimani with Alain and had all sorts of porter support for one person. But the weirdest part was on Illimani because Alain spoke French and Spanish but no English and my Spanish is no bueno, which made for a very quiet expedition.
