Carstensz Pyramid 2011
In 2011, Bruce (co-climber on Everest) and I joined 4 others (Ricky, George, John and Brett) on a locally guided expedition to Carstensz Pyramid in Papua. Also known as Puncak Jaya, at 16,023', this is the highest mountain in Oceania. The climb was fun. The 6 day trek to base camp and 4 day trek out was epic. My foot is still numb.
