Escarcha and a Carcass

For two days, we watched Escarcha and her cubs eat this guanaco carcass. The trackers told us the guanaco was killed by Dania. It is not uncommon for pumas to kill a guanaco and then allow another puma to eat it. Dania is pregnant. When her cubs are born, maybe she will benefit from another puma's kill.
